How do you market/earn from funny videos ?

I don't do this personally. However I do see it a lot on several videos. People show you the first 30 seconds of the clip, and then cut it and say that they aren't allowed to display any more of it on this website (eg. Youtube). They then say to see the rest people visit my website.

So they show you enough to get you really interested, then leave you wanting for more. You then visit their website and they can then earn some money from ads they have on their site etc.

A lot of videos on youtube will display a url throughout the entire clip and then at the end display something like "See more videos like this at...". Then at the target site they display a bunch of ads beside the videos.

Some other methods ?

 

I d just submit your videos to digg or reddit, stumbleupon. Any of the social media sites will bring in good traffic and/or crash your servier if they get popular
