Ohh God! There are plenty of other ways to make money. This includes doing a job, forum posting, building websites, etc. If you're new, go learn HTML & CSS (it's easy) and start making websites. I guess blogs/websites are the best way to generate income.
well staying on original topic I make money with various websites. I started with proxies April 2007 when I first started making real money online. I took a long time learning about business online in general and learning php and things I need to make my sites work. I have recenently diversified into other sites as well and I am going to continue to build more and more sites as I believe that true long term online income stability is about diversification. However I still make the most money with proxies. I made $1500 with my proxies last month. I think that they will level off somewhere between $1000-$2000 per month, but I am ever moving forward so we will see. MAtt

Create 1 website work on promoting it and making it popular over 1 year. I am sure by the end of the year if you work on it everyday, you could be making 100 a day or so. I know i could have if i did not keep changing my mind and ended up making 10 different websites.

I make money thru affiliate marketing. I only promote things that I really believe it could help potential customer. first I give them solid information then it is up to them to evaluate the content. most people don't make money online because they run away from knowledge but looking for easy money. when they buy things they want 1, 2 3 step to earn then an autopilot kind of way to earn money. that's why you see so many product on the net are offered use a marketing strategy to take advantage of that needs. and what is the result you get? only 5% would end up making money online. and the rest will go back to offline world.
Register a domain, if you don't have one and host it with a good niche. Monetize the site with google adsense and start working on SEO - search engine optimization. That will bring in the much needed traffic. Actively involve yourself in forums like dp and leave your signature. You will get the backlinks which will help to improve your PR. Update the contents at regular intervals and side by side build links through dp along with free directory submission. That's all. It may be slow but sure and sustainable way to success. Keep working and definitely you will start earning
I personally really enjoy blogging. It's a way to help/entertain people but at the same time make some money. It especially pays off if you end up with a very popular blog like Shoemoney's because you can also become famous! Then the real money starts flowing in... i donno, just what I like
there are lots of useful advices here, no doubt, but i would like to clarify few things, perhaps too general. what exactly do you mean by services and such. would you count blogs like wrathof1337king that is strictly shit talking about a game commodity or service, fun and entertaintment service that is, or would you segregate that elsewhere. i am not exactly sure what i am good at, but as far as online skills go, i am lacking in the technical stuff. i am an english student at york university hoping to use some of my skills online, but is it worth the time. i doubt people want to read about james joyce, alfred tennyson, virginia woolf, though great artists, let alone joke about this stuff, you know those "clever double entedres." i was considering blogging, thrice to be clear, but gave up early. partly because i didn't get any comments, so discouraging, and partly because i am lazy and unmotivated. my point: does it make sense persevere with blogging about playing around with literary styles and form, or should i consider other forms of cash flow from the net, not to say i should be restricted to it. i was thinking of making a video blog, athene seems to be doing well -- 1337king that is. thanks
Hmm... I start by building a list, then started selling my own products, affiliate products... On the sideline, build websites, monetize with adsense, affiliates and PLR ebooks... Not a start today earn tomorrow plan.
