how do you make money (please share your model of making money)

I am really curious on the various ways you do business in now days.

what i want to know is

i do php programming, consulting and i am a business guy.

i have found two similar business models that work
1) specialized firm about a product and all you do is to support the product users and develop for them (4ex: google ).

2) to create a needed product half made or prepeared (4ex: a custom CRM) and sell it to customers and earn income by customization requests and re-customization requests. basically you can giveaway the product kind of for free if they buy customization.

local SMB firms

why do they pay you (and stay with you):
they like my service
and i am available to solve any problem for them at any time.

a special skill or situation that are essential:
1) i have learned to use a php framework
2) i always learn about business
3) i usually upgrade my skills to match client requests

minimum money you do in it:
when a new big client fails it can go to -10,000$,
in a bad month you can do 400$

maximum money you do in it:
5000$ a month

why do you have money:
because i find good clients that are true partners.

 

Currently I'm working on creating my own product. I'm going to hire someone to create a website for me and write some good sales copy. Then I'm getting some Jvs to promote it on launch date. From that point, I'll just create more products in the same niche, and sell them to the same ones who bought my first product. That's my business model.

As for as the money goes, I'm trying to keep my cost as low as possible. $1000 maximum. All the money will be toward building the website and writing a good sales copy.

Obviously I’m not going to give away my trade secrets but I can tell you this. You won’t get money for nothing. You also won’t get money from copying other people’s ideas. Study hard and work hard and you will make money. Find something you really enjoy doing anyway even if it doesn't pay at first. This is a basic secret to success. In my opinion studying is probably the best option as many people find this too hard and would rather try and scam you for cash.

 

Yes, that right.. I agree with you Jack.. I also take about 3 month to build a website for teach other people making their website.. There are no easy step to success in this business..

 

Work for an online Merchant/s
I have done and still do my own affiliate stuff and offline things I love, but to date nothing has matched regular work for online merchants (media buys, planning creatives, web sites, promotional activities of all kinds etc..)
