For me it's freelance plus running websites and selling webspace

 

Selling eBooks, from my experience, never works out in the long run. Essentially, selling eBooks is selling snake oil, and after a while people are able to recognize what snake oil looks like.

Now I'm working on my own endevours in blogging and advertising. Off to a good start, hopefully it goes as well as I think.

If you are starting out you need a blog whatever you are marketing. If you are selling a making money product you should write a post about why it is so good and be an authority on what you sell. No one will buy from you unless you know what you are talking about. Forum marketing, article marketing and classifieds are also good. Don't overstretch yourself and if you find it all too much to do everything you can outsource from places like Fiverr who are well worth it saving you time to work on something else

In order to really make money online, you simply have to know how to market your self and really become a consultant on your product or service... This is done by either creating a website that sells for you or becoming an affiliate or associate of another company with a proven product and actually experiencing that product or service firsthand... I currently work with a benefits company that pays me 200% commissions and all I'm doing is driving a lot of targeted traffic to my custom capture page with video that anyone can setup as well... My website pretty much does all the selling end explaining for me so I can focus on just driving traffic on a daily basis.. I get paid each every week directly into my bank account... I used to do article writing and Flash game design. Most people are looking for mobile games now though, and very low prices for articles. The last few clients I've worked with on here haven't paid me or kept in contact either. I don't really have any options for making money on the Internet anymore.
