How do you make money from movie sites?

Can I please be explain of all the ways you can make money from a movie site. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are running a legit business the sky is the limit. But if you have boot-leg or non authorized content consider yourself sued, and shut down. No advertising network is going to allow there ads to be associated with illegal content, at least not any advertising company I would trust.

Also note, just because you don't host the content doesn't mean it is legal to post links to it. Posting links to unauthorized content is just as illegal as hosting it.

However, if you do decide or figure out someway to host legal content then you may have a gold mine. But I will warn you it's going to be extremely hard. You have a lot of competition with hulu, and other networks.

You get money from each survey.
The problem with this method is that not everyone fills it in and people tend to stray away from websites like this.

2) Ad Networks
You can sign up for ad networks and place ads within your site and within the page.
Use ad networks like: smowtion, captain ads, adbrite, cpxinteractive, and clicksor
People like this method because there is nothing required and you may get a lot of returning visitors often.
But, the problem is that you don't make as much of an income off this method.

 

I've heard a lot about CaptainAds for video and movie content websites. They put ads right into the video, so you gain views for the ads along with video views.

We can use google adsense and make money. Also we can use affiliate programs to make money with this movie site.
