How Do You Make A Post "Sticky" In phpBB Forums

Discussion in 'phpBB' started by Daniel Cassidy, May 18, 2008.

I just installed a new forum on my website using Fantastico and installed the phpBB forum. Everything is all setup and works, but I can't find a way to make a post "Sticky" or stay at the top of a thread.

I went into the moderator panel and selected the post, but it does not give me an option to make it "sticky" in the drop down menu.

Anybody know how to do this?

Log in as moderator, edit the post and below the textbox where the message is there are three radio buttons that say "o Normal o Important o Anouncement" (or smth like this). Choose Important and the post will go "Sticky" !

Yeah, in phpbb you have to either make it sticky when posting or by editting, you can just change it.

    I have tried that already...

I am the admin and when I edit a post I DO NOT see any options for making it sticky

not even in the drop down menu
