Well to get that forum "sexier" :d, you will most likely require a "sexier" style (skin)... and you will need like shoutbox, for members to chat between themselevs... add an arcade, so that they can have fun when they're bored... and maybe add more sections where they can talk ;)

try searching the php styles sites for "modern" styles, I would think they would be "sexier" :)

    good luck

First off: NP for replying :D
Secondly: The skins i would use would be these ones...
    aqueous
    cobalt
    vBulletin tren_z skin
    vBulletin surge skin
    vBulletin oivar
    Code (markup):
these are some good skins from extremepixels... but again, its up2 for the skin of choice, the current one, wont attract attention much. but again, these are vBulletin skins, and since i noticed ur forum is a phpBB some extremepixel ones, got a good one, and also google phpbb3 styles, there would be some nice skins there 2. but your current one, makes me leave the site.
Lastly: As you can see your domain is stree speakers... and you got discussion on many stuff... try adding in
Street Games- just talk about video games or something... :)
then add like... video section, and share videos there, add like a little, forum games section... picture zone... and more...
    Code (markup):

The simplest answer is: Ask Your Members :)
Create a Thread so that they can add ideas. Some of them you'll accept, some not, some not and then get them rolling in half a month (They will love the surprise!).

Based on the software you are using, you may want to let them know about sites with mods/hacks, templates to your forums software so they can choose.

At first you'll get the most obvious picks: skin, chatbox, some games to play.
Hopefully, they'll find some more interesting things :)
Sometimes, the small things matter most.

It's good to have at least one light and one dark theme. Try not to pick those empty, overdrown with no style what-so-ever - always get feedback from users.

All things considered, make your members feel welcome, happy and proud about being a part of your community.

    appreciate the feedback!
yea i went ahead and had my programmer (silent_thunder of DP) upload the new theme and get some more mods put on there. he still got some work to do before its complete, but i took everybody idea and went with it.
So far the response to my new theme is great, i cant wait til the new banner is on there as well cus the current banner is horrible, but thats ok its only temporary.

As mentioned previously I just wanted to double up on the suggestion of absolutely basing this "sexy renovation" or soley adding new and or better colors, adjusting the skin, and or presenting more interactive options for your visitors and members.

    Best of luck

    Regards,

    William

Try some good skins and change it for some time, ask your users which is the best then continue with it
