    Hi All,

    How do you link a specific ad to a specific keyword located within an adgroup in Google Adwords? I want some of my keywords to have very specific ads that go along with them. I see that you can make multipe ads for an adgroup but how do you link a specific ad, to a specific keyword. Thanks in advance & Happy New Years To All At DigitalPoint!

    You can't. Create a new ad group with a new ad(s) for those keywords.

    So lets say you sold cat supplies and I wanted 2 keywords in my campaign "Kittie Litter" & "Kitty Bedding." Lets say I wanted to have an ad for each keyword with the Heading (1st line) using the keyword for example "High Quality Kitty Bedding" as one ad and "Cheap Kittie Litter" as the other. How exactly would I do that and how could I do that for lets say 50+ keywords? Does each keyword have to be its own adgroup?

    In the above example you would two seperate ads....unless you just used exact matching. Then the title of the ad would be exactly (space permitting) whatever the user typed as a search phrase. The description/ad text lines would have to be pretty generic though.

    I would suggest two ad groups - one for kitty litter and one kitty bedding - they are very different and I think you would be selling one or both of them short by coming up with an ad generic enough to accommodate them both.

    You could try something like:

    keywords:
    [kitty litter]
    [kitty bedding]

    Ad title: {KeyWord:default text}
    Desc 1: Shop for high quality
    Desc 2: {keyword:default text}
    url: wwx.example.com

    But again, I think you could write more compelling ad copy by splitting the keywords into new ad groups.
