As a kid I could never eat steak that still had pink on the inside.

Now that Ive gotten older I like my steak cooked medium rare. It has such a different taste when theres still a bit of pink. :D

I couldn't eat it rare or blue as it's sometimes called though.

How do you like your steak cooked?

I get mine well done, I'm really not all that interested in the taste to be honest, just the protein content :)

Yeah I would have to agree with you there! When my mum orders steak she asks for it cremated! :p

Just a hint of pink, say medium well. Wife likes it medium, kinda bloody.

Best steak ever was at a little place called The Branding Iron in Ocala, Florida.

Rare is not the same thing as blue - blue is cooked for less time than rare. Personally I have my steaks medium rare. I once accidently ordered a blue steak (my fault for trying to order in russian). When it arrived on the table, I'm 95% certain a half decent vet could have had it walking again :D

Bunch of philistines ;) I think its a waste of a good steak to have it served up almost cremated!

I prefer it not kicking or moo' ing. Other than that if it is on a plate I will eat it.

Since most restaurants tend to undercook the steaks, I always order it medium. That way I get a perfect medium rare steak. :D

And now I am hungry... Who wants to join me for dinner? :p
