I mean, people ask me if i am good and i certainly do not say i am good ( It's a behavioral thing ) or bad but, for once i just want to test my self and know how much skill i have. Take some of the Zend certification practice tests and read the material if you want to test your theoretical knowledge.

If you can comfortably and correctly program on Frameworks, MVC, complex web services, design patterns, you are probably good. You may still be a good programmer but just haven't needed to use many of those. Using API's and MVC is pretty commonplace, so those would be a minimum proficiency IMO.

I don't necessarily agree with the Zend certification suggestion. When I went through it there was a lot of theoretical knowledge that will never be applicable in normal programming. That's pretty much typical with the comparison between classroom and workplace. If you can cruise it, that's pretty impressive but nonetheless I don't think the Zend cert is an accurate indicator of actually being a good php programmer.

Realistically I don't think it really matters. If you can write clean and efficient code that is secure, and properly organized and optimized, that's all you need. If there is some feature or service that you can't do, then start learning and adding it to your tool belt.
