seriously. so what's the "last straw" to let you know that you've had it? an irritating officemate? a grumpy boss? overloaded everyday? a better job prospect?

    tell me your thoughts :)

I have two most important things that I should always gain from work. If 1 of them is missing then other options are ought to be considered and If both of them are missing then it is going to be my time to move on.

You learn while you earn. It would be quite boring if you only earn and you don't learn anything (or vice versa) but it would be much worse if you don't learn anything and don't earn much money at the same time..

I don't know , I've never bothered thinking . Usually you just evolve to bigger and better . Quite when you're going to get more cash from something else .

@Grimm - exactly. if either one is missing, it tends to get boring. you'll feel that it's kinda not worth it anymore

@ApocalypseXL - good for you if you haven't had any type of quitting crisis yet :D

Well I run my own businesses and the crisis hit me as hard as possible but I can't stand and complain you just have to keep working your ass off . Work 14 hours , love your girl four hours and sleep for another four . Receipt for success I always say .

It would be like night and day. :) I don't mind having bosses as long as they don't piss me off although I also plan to be my own boss someday.

@Grimm thanks for correcting me :p . As you said it's night and day . No rest for the wicked some would say . It's far easier to work under a boss since you don't have to make decisions . You always have a go to guy .

When you're on your own it's kind of lonely . But you don't have to put up whit anyone . And that itself it's one of the biggest rewards .

generally, when you can't learn more or when you can't see the chance, quit.

    Impeccable :D

Both things should be present, if one is missing then it's your time to look for something else.

    Cheers!

Still, that comes with the wonder word "IF", only a few people and I mean few that are already in this level. With that said however, rich people don't just get contented with all the money they get as they still itch to try something else and thus, the thirst of learning something else.

Firstly, don't quit your job until you find another one that can satisfy you both mentally and financially. It's never good to feel burnt out at work but it's near the end of the year, something good will turn up soon. good luck.
