how do you know if your site is penalize by google?

i submitted my site to google's xml in google webmaster tools for about 2 weeks already and none of my links are indexed.

is my site penalize by google?

Get some links for your site and then your site will be in google index

 

it will take some time to show you data about your indexed urls in google webmaster.

 

There are so many ways that indicates Google penalty but as far as new site is concerned, delay in indexing cant be called as a penalty

Wait for some more time...make sure you have a unique content and just post your link here or digg it or tweet it.

 

Fresh content with backlinks. Submit your website in the social media websites initially. Google will crawl your website then increase backlinks.

 

I'm fairly sure the might hand of google hasn't seen fit to destroy you just yet. Give it a day or two.

 

Your site will only get banned/penalized for excessive backlinking.

 

Usually your site will not appear in the SERPS listing if this is the case, aside from that it is very hard to know for sure whether your site has been penalised or whether it is just that you need to do link building and updating of content to boost your SERPS ranking

 

There is no way of checking if your website got penalized AFAIK Since your website is still new, it's just an indexing issue. Like mentioned above, submit your website and pages to social bookmarking websites and it will get indexed faster
