How Do You Know If You Are Sandboxed By Google?

I just recently launched a website with a brand new domain in the beginning of May. I have built good backlinks I would say a minimum of 50 with atleast 4 having a PR of 5 and about a dozen of pr 4 and the rest are below 4. I have 130 pages optimized for the search engines at the moment. I did my research carefully and most of these words are three word phrases that I know I should be ranking high in.

At the moment I am only getting an average of about 5 hits per day from Google. Is this normal or am I probably sandboxed? Do new websites usually start receiving traffic after the pr update? My home page gets a new cached snapshot almost everyday but most of my other pages have a snap shot with dates from June.

If you have got more visitors from Google and now if decreased maybe your site in Sandbox.

this adds to the question of "if I am not in the sandbox why can't I list for this word or phrase?"

I took it slow and build my site. good links good content good visits.

my site still does not list for first 200 of my secondary keyword after more than a year and today I found a 'competitor' that does.

    I am getting a complex!

I look in my referral page. Some link from Google was there before, but for several days ago till now ... nothing, therefore the visitor decrease.
Maybe you can check that too. That must be sandbox i guess :(

Guys can u clear me on this.

If site is in Sandbox then will it also effect indexing of the site. My site is not indexed since 27 june home page is also de-indexed domain is new registered on may 2007. So i am wondering why site is not indexing after 27 june.

I have about 50000 back links in yahoo. and google updated the backlinks also and i got 733 links in Google also

So wondering what cause the site not indexing

Until a site earns enough trust from Google it will suffer from low rankings and Googlebot won't visit often.

The only way to get good rankings is to get trusted links and stop getting links from directories and forum signatures.

If you rely on links like this then you will struggle.
