How do you know if they are invalid clicks? (unexplained traffic spike)

    As far i know you come to know from tour analitical accounts by undefined ip address or in adsense account to notice page RPM.

    Yes I think its a bot thing. I am still getting this, going on 2 months straight now. I had to remove AdSense Ads from the page being attacked because Google kept removing the revenue. The amount of hits from the bots have slowed down a little, but there are still too many of them which are messing up my stats.

    Yes it is definitely bots, when this happens, I send an email to google and let them know.

    You should definitely look into it so that you won't get penalized by Google somewhere down the line. Hope you can get it all straightened out soon. Good luck.

    I had to remove AdSense from the page that the bots kept visiting because Google removed the income from them. The ads I replaced them with don't pay much of anything though.
