How do you know, if the backlink is worth its price?

    Hey guys,

I have a problem I just can not figure out. I am planning to buy several backlinks to improve my search rankings, but I have received very different offers.

So, to divide it into several sub-questions:

    1. Except PR, what other factors influence the price of one backlink?
    2. Is it possible to measure the effectiveness of the backlink in the future (in 6 moths)?
    3. What is the average price for backlinks from PR1 webs, PR2 webs...and so on..
    4. How do I know if it is not a lot to pay $5-10 dollars for just one backlink a month?

Many thanks for any ideas about this issue.

    Peter

    1. There are some other factor such as the niche, it helps more in SEO if the backlink site is in your niche
    2. The only way to determine the site is the quality of the site and how often the site update the content
    3. There is no standard price, once you find the quality site with the price you think is reasonable, go ahead
    4. $5-$10 per month is not expensive at all if you are talking about quality site

Do a lot of research into the sites that will link your site. Some aren't worth it

PR isn't the better "tool" at this time.. you can check too the "mozRank" (use google for to found where)
Too check from what page is linked to your site and if the site have too much links outs.. be carefull with farm links

    2. Is it possible to measure the effectiveness of the backlink in the future (in 6 moths)?
    Not

    4. How do I know if it is not a lot to pay $5-10 dollars for just one backlink a month?
If the site is good.. $5 - 10 isn't to much

Its really simple. If there are many quality links going to that site (or even better page) then that site is a good site to get links from. How to find that out? Use open site explorer or Majestic SEO to look at the back links to that site. It's not rocket science. Also look at the number of links coming off the site. If it has billions and it looks spammy etc. then don't go with it. Use common sense too!Good luck!
