How do you hide your affiliate id at Ezine Articles?

    Is it possible to link to a vendors product directly from your article at Ezine Articles using your affiliate link? I think I have seen affiliates doing this but I am not sure how. But whenever I try to put my affiliate link in my articles I get a message saying: "Your Body appears to contain a link to a known affiliate site hop.clickbank.net. Affiliate links are not allowed
    "

    I tried using Addme to cloak my link but that doesn't work either.

    Here is an article that I saw on Ezine articles that I believe uses their affiliate link directly in their article here. When you click the link in this article it takes you directly to the vendors home page www.fatloss4idiots.com/?hop123456

    How can affiliates get their article readers to click directly through to the vendors landing page? I feel like I am missing something fairly obvious so any suggestions would be awesome!

    Yes it's possible and it's very simple but it will cost you something. You must buy domain name (www.the-product-your-promoting.com) and simply redirect it to the vendors page using your affiliate link. If you don't have enough cash you can buy .info domains which are usually around $1 on godaddy.com (I assume you can afford that)

    Cheers

    what about .co.cc. They offer full dns control. that would work right?

    Co.cc's work as well, however you should know that you don't actually own a domain but a "sub-domain"

    Co.cc domains are not domains but sub-domains.

    Agreed but this is a good alternative if you're on a budget. Good Luck! :)

    Cheapest solution:
    Get a free hosting ie. mysite.somefreehosting.com
    Write a PHP script that would make a redirection to your affiliate link and save it as index.php
    then your link looks like this: http://mysite.somefreehosting.com
    that doesn't look like affiliate link, does it?

    @imbrod

    I wouldn't recommend using a free hosting for your affiliate sites. An .info domain is measly $1, it's just not worth it.
