I've written multiple articles on ezine articles and others that have follow links when I've published it, but then when I'm doing backlink research, I'll find sites that have used my article and either nofollowed my article links are made them inactive.

What strategies do you use on this?

Doesn't stress me, in fact I don't worry about follow or no-follow. From my own experience ranking my sites has always been based on keyword anchor text and I've never put any concern on if the links are follow or no-follow.

I do not mind. I am currently trying out different Adsense revenue sharing sites for link building. As long as Google recongizes the links, I do not really care if it is dofollow or no follow.
