If you are asking for a PayPal alternative..... I have used Entropay....and I think Xoom also allows it Otherwise, the better option is to do bank transfer...or send check, demand draft or by postal money order......or even deposit cash/cheque in the payee bank (most Indian banks have core banking so you can deposit in any branch if you know the payee's bank account name and number)
With bank transfer there are less chances of fraud as well. Even if you pay money upfront, and the seller doesn't do the job, you can always use the account number to find the guy. Anyway, it won't come to that as even the seller knows that he has given all details to buyer.
I am sending indian person money via bank transfer or may be Money order is another option too but i would say bank transfer is the best option
According to me there are many ways to transfer a money and some of them are very popular ways which provides best money transfer services to their customer. There are many things that you should consider in your mind before going to transfer a money.
Best way is the NEFT or bank transfer. I use paypal for international payment, though they limit my account from time to time.
are you using entropay? What they charges for transaction. and can we buy anything from entropay vcc.?
Though I'm not from india , but here in my country i use paypal alternatives as they don't work here. some methods I use are; bank transfers and online banking (some bank sending/receiving funds from internet) or directly contacting person if they are near and i have time.
There is a fee of 4.95 % on credit card funding and yes you can use it wherever Visa is accepted. The only problem with Entropay is they close inactive accounts and you have to start all over again.
