How do you guys make your money here?

I'm just curious about the different methods that work for people here. I'm not asking you to divulge the bomb secret or anything. Personally, I make a decent amount doing freelance work and selling turnkey social network apps. I've also got a ton of applications on Facebook that earn me a nice check each month.

So how do you guys do it? I'm willing to share some of my secrets with you if you're interested. I'm interested in projects I can setup to run in the background (much like Facebook apps) that will earn while I can spend time freelancing or doing other things.

I make money mostly from private link sales. I haven't tried much else, due to lack of time.

 

I sell collectible toys online.

 

most of my money comes from affiliate marketing.

 

I code software for fellow DP-ers (Java mostly, im not into php/xhtml) and sell sign links or banners/links on my site etc.

I earn most of my money doing programming and getting donations from people that support my site.

 

Best way in my opinon: Make your own information product that really fills a need, drive traffic to a sales page promoting that product with White Hat SEO methods.

Facebook apps are a cool new way to make money. I'm thinking of getting into it myself.

it's amazing how many different ways there are to earn online! nearly every single person so far has listed a different method!

 

The ways are earned on DP are:
-Providing Chinese landing page packages for clients targeting the Chinese market (Translation+SEO+Link building @$99)
-Selling web hosting plans (China & Singapore)
-Providing general SEO
But DP (+other online forums) doesn't even make 5% of our revenues as we are a brick-and-mortar business and most of our clients come from offline advertising and worth of mouth
