How do you guys keep track of statistics for your sites?

using google analytics just add a code and google will do everything for you.

 

awstats + google analytics + statpress
between the three, I get all the information I could want and then some

 

I had been using Webalizer and Awstats but now I use Google Analytics. Periodically I compare Google Analytics stats to Awstats to check that everything is ok.

 

Sign up for a google webmaster account and install the google analytics tracking tag on your site.

Between the Webmaster Tools and Analytics you will have all the information you are looking for. Plus a whole lot more.

Those tools provide you with more then just uniques. you will be able to see who is linking to your site, popular search terms, how your ranking in certain search terms, what google bot sees in your site, how many uniques visit your site, what countries the people are from, site map tools, missing URLs on your site, site map errors,,,,,,,,, the list goes on and on.

I use statcounter I think you have to upgrade after a certain amount of logs

 

I've always used Google Analytics - and have found it to be a great system for watching statistics. Very intuitive.

Yeah I decided to go with Google Analytics, and now that I have it I am highly satisfied, it gives great statistics, I am addicted to checking it every hour to see if I have another visitor. Oh what it is like to have a small site haha
