More and more, Google continues to out position other bidders for certain keywords. Like definitions for words, health related topics, calendar, music, phones, etc as an example. How do you guys feel about Google having their own ads in the adwords sponsored results with other bidders? I feel it's wrong. Every ad that places, changes the entire bidding scale, and when theirs is always the number 1 or 2 spot, it becomes expensive to out bid them for competing keywords. Right or wrong thing to do?
I don't like it because it seems like there phone ad keeps showing up on my (non-phone) related websites. I actually had to switch the ad unit out. It sucks if you're bidding against them...because isn't it like a free ad run for them?
