How do you get your own listing in Wikipedia.com? Is this possible? If so, does it cost money? THanks, -C
There is no cost to do it, but unless you are famous or have created/ written/ invented/ founded etc. there is no way that the article will get approved. Read this article (from wikipedia) that says why they frown upon people writing their own autobiographies.
You can create your own for free anytime, but unless you have citations from distinguished sites you will get removed pretty quickly.
Yep if you create it you need to have big sites linking to yours. I have a site on there now. It was about to be removed when someone (dont know who) fixed a link that was linking to it. Now its been up there for about 6 months or a lil more. If you do add one, dont make it spammy. give real facts and do your research before you post. Make sure your site is worthy of it. If its a MFA site or a cookie cutter site then dont even try, they will get rid of you fast! Good Luck
It's simple. You can't post about yourself or your site. Unless your famous that's it. You don't have to be pay. Just famous like youtube or veoh. Or actors and you'll be added.
Posting is easy as anyone can edit wiki but there are less chances that your link will remain there unless it is really supporting the content.
