How many of us buy and collect DVDs? And for the rest how do you manage yours, do you rent, netlix, borrow from friends, download etc?
I am not buying DVDS. But my dad buys it from his co-office mates. I am interested to start collecting DVDs. But it will be for music purposes only and not for movies.
Then I am sure your father would love gafal.com, this will help him catalog his collection and also to find the DVDs he is interested in from his office mates. Gafal is a social network for books, comics, movies and video games lovers and collectors. It blends the power of social media with a quick and easy media cataloging and managing interface. Communities at Gafal represent physical entities like colleges, businesses and neighborhoods. Users create personal libraries of their media items that get merged to create community libraries. Community members can search community library to borrow, sell, buy or exchange items with other members of the community. Ofcourse the site is new so your father would need to create a community and promote the site at his office to get the real benefit.
I torrent them and organize them on my hard drive. Currently about 95 AVIs, 30 dvd rips, 25 blu-ray rips.
I prefer buying DVDs as I already have a very good collection and am eager to always add more titles to it! Regards, RightMan
