How do you get traffic to your quality AdSense page?

Obviously, traffic for a content-driven AdSense page needs to be targeted to have value.

How do you get traffic to your AdSense page? How much traffic are you able to get those ways? How much money or time do you have to invest to get that traffic?

I'm especially interested in free or low-budget traffic methods, since I couldn't get a good ROI otherwise.

Make a quality Content page and then put Adsense on it. Then people want to come back and link to you. Couple e-mails, a little pay per click advertising using signing bonuses, then it should handle itself.

 

Honestly, I build a network of feeder sites the drive targeted traffic toward my adsense pages. Been doing that for years.

 

I have done so, as in reasonably good content (articles) and ive got feed burner set up, all sorts of things that suposibly "help" bring traffic to a blog. However, havent seen much results that im happy with.

Any suggestions on next step? Im lookin for basically free or close to free ways-- ps: ive even got google sitemap, listed in google.. but hardly get 3 visits a day-

 

Post content in articles directories and link ur site to different high pr directories when i was began my problem was same now i can get 50- 60 visitor a day with 10 returning

 

No traffic method can beat Search engine traffic, coz it converts the best. I find social networking useless since it just doest convert at all and ends up screwing up you eCPM

 

Article marketing and posting in forms is a good way to get free targeted traffic.

 

I think submitting your site to web directory and write up article will help in some day.

I've been relying on MySpace to get traffic. However, I'm slowly getting more and more search engine traffic (which is what I want).

 

I think search is the most targetted traffic you can get.

 

Search engines will be your best friend.
You will need good content for your visitors to return.
Social bookmarking can still be a good friend.
You need to focus on Link Building also

try to use blogs and social bookmakers , tag and ping is one of the best way those days ..

 

you must build backlinks as much as you can do.

I have such diverse and relevant text, that much of mine is from search engines. Not too much from one - but all combined.

A lot of people follow my signature from like 10 garden / landscape / tree forums I use (worth it), but most traffic is from search engines. Some from bookmarks.

My safe woods for pet birds page - amazingly - happens to be the most complete in the category of "wood" worldwide. No parrot forum or bird site has a more comprehensive page on safe and toxic woods for pet birds.

Geez... it's self propogating. I see links in my stats from Yahoo email and parrot forums and bird sites - on and on an on. Even Chinchilla sites and Sugar Glider sites link to it.

It gets more traffic than any page I have. It's the one that first made me think about Adsense.

In short - that's a quality content page. Unique content included.
