how do you get traffic for a really niche site

i have many people visiting for short time in my solar site.
how do you get more traffic for a small niche?

 

by promoting it to social bookmarkings, article writings, social networks.
use the searh bar on top of the forum for what I have suggested and you will get a lot of threads with tips.


P S you should have posted this under general marketing.

i think you should optimize your site according to google laws and build long tail keywords.

 

All of the above are good suggestions. I started using Digg,Stumbleupon, twitter and have added Social bookmarking quick links to my site.

 

You have to target long tail keywords better. Most of your traffic will come for long tail keywords.

 

sign up for yahoo answers and answer questions related to your website and link your website as a source..

 

submit to technorati and social bookmark site, mainly digg or stumble upon. right interesting content and make the site look very nice. the seo rankings will develop over time but you have to be patient with them.

if you want get trageted traffic then try to post in yahoo answers and in other forums in related category...

 

Try to use Twitter to find people interested in your niche . Ask them for follow you . After some times you will be surprised for results.
