^ Same , and moderator jobs are sometimes very hard to do well , need a lot of time and efforts. So you need to love the way the forum work , dedicate your time to forums .
Nahhh..... If you're talking about DP, none of the mods here have at least 15k post. Even 1 of the mod have less than 1k post >> TikTok
It is not the number of posts that count, it is your bid that counts, try sending a higher bid to Crazy Rob . You may get the job next time round. You may want to check with Crazy Rob when does the next bidding starts
Mods and admins "nominate" members we think would be good for the job. We discuss it. Admins decide to offer a mod position to those that make the cut. That's all there is to it, and there's nothing anyone can do to really increase their chances. Just be a good member, help people out, etc. Don't ask to be one either - that increases your chances of not being asked.
