For those that make money from the internet, how do you get paid? Do you use e-mail to communicate about the work that needs to be done, give your paypal id to customer then send the finished work through e-mail. Do you have a website that takes care of the transactions and if so what do you use. Is it custom built? What's your system of choice when working with a customer and getting paid.
You can use digitalpoints Private message system to contact the clients. PAypal, moneybookers, egold are some of the online payment systems.
I find it best on aim or msn, it's as if you're talking to someone face to face. Instant replies! I always discuss the work and then once it's agreed, usually they pay half first or it's payed at the end of the work. My jobs are not usually over $100 or so. So, if it's an expensive job, I definitely recommend signing some type of contract, and having them pay a downpayment or half of the payment.
They send me money to Paypal, and it wire transfer to the Bank. Then I pull out the funds with an ATM card.
PayPal is the only way i receive money from clients. Communication almost always take place via PM, hence why my inbox is full after a month...sometimes through email though if i have worked with them before.
I communicate with my client through emails and send the original files when completed. After that give the paypal ID to client and he just send the money... So simple
I like to pay Mrs Buffalo in pancakes and beer. Not necessarily in that order. It's just the kind of relationship we have.
Thanks! Now everybody is going to want to pay me in pancakes and beer!! You promised to keep that a secret! At least you didn't tell them what kind of work it is that I do for you....
my prefered method of getting paid is in titties n beer, but sometimes I have to accept cash/paypal/credit cards and later change them into tnb.
