How do you get money from ad content?

i got a google search box on my site, i also see people have been searching from it, but i got 0 earnings from it? how does this work actually?

 

Those people have to click the ads in the results page to get paid...

Nope, you can find Ads by Google under that when clicked you got paid in the search results page, even you can check it by searching some keywords and see the results (but don't click the ads)

 

To take advantage of the search facility, you need to have a lot of traffic.
