How do you get listed on DMoz

But, Target are in the business of selling things - businesses who sell things provide a customer service.

How much have you paid DMOZ to expect some service?

 

I was just wondering if it makes that much of a difference when you get listed in dmoz.

I think it does make a great difference. Much more search engines will list your site, many more backlinks from normal websites, etc. Your traffic will pick up about 4-6 weeks after getting listed.

 

same problem i am facing i submitted my site before 2months but there is still no reply . can u tell me if dmoz will accept our website will they inform us that our site has been approved?

 

There won't be a reply, ever. If the site upon review is found listable you will see it listed, if its not listable it will be deleted from consideration. There is never an automated reply.

 

No worries Jalpari. Sometimes sites are listable and sometimes is WHACKABLE.
