Being a high quality authority site referred to by other professionals and masses of surfers is the only reliable generic way to get listed. It is an exception and privilege and no entitlement to be listed in wikipedia and of course only a tiny minority of sites fit into wiki or qualify. Google serps bring you much more traffic than such listings! I would never waste a day for such listing but rather weeks for overall seo and directory listings.
Mate, different ways, but if you are not on the content you'll be deleted. Remember theres' no effect for link juice - all links are no followed, but can generate some traffic. I've found the best way is to hire anyone who has written for given wikipedia entries before. Find any similar article then click in history on the top of the page for a list of rtevisions with the usernames, contact one of them Cheers
Nofollow means nothing in this case...being linked to from a super high authority nofollow site (possibly one of the most important sites on the internet) means more to me than getting a legit PR5 dofollow backlink.
One relatively easy way is to get in the newspaper or media for anything - you can then officially be listed as a credible source.
