How Do You Get Headings More Than 25 Chars?

    Okay, so I've set up an AdGroup for 'Financial Services Recruitment'. Now, since you're only allowed a maximum of 25 chars in your heading why then, when I type "financial services recruitment" into Google, do ads come up with that exact title (30 characters)?

    great observation!! Just ran the same search and saw the headline you mention in that order and a different order (Recruitment Financial Services). No idea why though! Presume it must be something to do with dynamic insertion gone slightly wrong.

    Good question.

    I can only see this as being a Google error somewhere - and the advertiser is using dynamic keyword insertion.

    {Edit: started writing post before squarecat replied - but great minds...}

    Okay then,

    So how do I use keyword insertion in my headline to presumably get the same effect?

    Thanks, I actually found this one as well which was a bit easier to understand.

    http://www.yourseoplan.com/dynamic-keyword-insertion.html

    And I also found that there should be no space after the colon.

    {KeyWord: default text} should be written {KeyWord:default text} as far as I know. I haven't really tested this.

    Note "may now occur" - again just another one of those could happen scenarios from Google.

    Yea - no space after the colon. If you're using the latest version of AdWords Editor it actually automatically corrects this anyway.
