How do you get clients for your Article Writing Busines?

I have started an Article Writing business. My question is this. I don't have any money to invest yet, I can't post my ad here because I don't have enough time in the forum to post in that section yet, so what would you recommend me to market my services.

I want to make some money quick and I believe I am a good enough writer to charge but I can't find any free way of doing my advertising besides here in this forum.

That's not how I would do it. I'm not trying to piss on your parade, but don't think about doing this because you want to get rich. Even a consistent semi-decent income from websites is incredibly difficult to achieve, you need to know so much... But that goes to just about any business idea.

I don't want to discourage you... I'm trying to change your mind because I'm trying to help. I've been through this before myself. Bottom line is that it's just difficult work. Be prepared to work hard, do research, study marketing tactics, and actually physically getting work done. If there is no work ethic and you are not producing something new every day, then something isn't right.

There is no quick money... it's possible, but it doesn't happen often. Remember the onemilliondollarhomepage.com phenomenon? The guy made one million in about 2 months. But he was clever, he was inventive, and he brainstormed and produced work constantly... maybe for a few days, but he put things out there on the Internet. He paid a thousand dollar or so as far as i remember to advertise his website in a local online newspaper article (as far as i remember), and things spun out of control. But you've got to have ideas.

Make a good website, organize information on it, write with a fluid style to explain the purpose of your website... Ask yourself the questions:

    a) Is your website interesting?

    b) Is the content of your site interesting?

    c) What would be the reason people would want to sign up?

    d) What will people be able to take with them from your site?

    e) Why would people want to link to your site and your articles? Youve got to have an edge...

    and so forth...

    Hop this helps

Thank you all this totally helped. I am reading a book right now that is about becoming a successful writer, and I believe just by reading the first couple chapters, I have already become pretty good at communicating through text.

There is still places where I need some work on, but overall I believe I can create decent well research content at a price. I defiantly need to fix my site, so I'll get to that.

There is so much you learn along the way of starting a journey, and deciding to stay in till you make it. So many valuable things that not only will make you more valuable in the market place, but will make you a much more intelligent human being to look at in the mirror.

you need to find time here in this forum as you think that you are a good writer. many writers make good money here as well as in warrior forum.

if you can't make it, just make a website suggested by 'webwaster', and rent signature from active poster here in DP so that your web will get a maximum exposure to DP members.

    all the best to you

Sign up at associatedcontent.com STart selling your articles there. Sign up at some freelancing sites like Rentacoder etc. later when you have some money, you can sign up at elance. With these steps you should start producing money on day 1.

I advise you to get a website- do some free work for people- and show off your abilities. Also, work for really cheap in the BST forums here on DP.

    Best of luck!
