How do you find the owner of a website...

There are alot of blogs and websites I really like and would like to contact the webmaster or owner. I was wondering if any of you know any way to do it if they don't have any contact information on their website. Maybe a DP search for their site?

You can look for the Contact Us link on their site or just type in their URL at a WhoIs site.

    Try www.WhoIs.sc

    look for contact information... ;-)

I sometimes check to see if they have any reference to any nicksnames, usernames, alias, and do a quick google search to see if anything comes up..

ususally people use the same for forums and stuff that will show up.

Another thing you can do is look for any LLC, company information and use that to look up the owner, etc.

Lastly, I would check alexa.com owner information. Sometimes webmasters put up contact information there.

I would say that whois email is usually a spam email account the owner rarely checks. I know that my whois email isn't something I check..

Hope that helps. Good luck. :)

    Regards,
    Zack B
