    Hi , we are trying to rank our website and i would like to hear your experience on how to find link building oportunities in 2016?

    Is there any software?

    Is there any general guide?

    Do you contact with other sites so they place a link for a small fee?

    How do you obtain quality links?

    Thanks

    I think mostly people new to SEO have the same questions although we may know we should try the best to build links that related to the niche websites, but it is a little hard or it takes long time to rank the keywords, there's my way to build links for my website:

    1. share post to social website links like google+, FB, Twitter etc; usually the top 10 social links;
    2. outsource some web 2.0 links to the SEO team for $100 monthly, then use software like GSA build tier 2 and 3 links;
    3. hand made backlinks via competitor backlinks.

    Hi lwseller

    You should focus on building links the manual way. This is the best way to gain authority and quality links. It will also give you the opportunity to ensure each and every link that points to your site is in a relevant niche. You should NOT use software for building links directly to your website, but can use software to build tier 2 and tier 3 links, as previously mentioned by bargainrocks.

    To build links yourself, you can analyze the backlinks of your competitors and see if there are any opportunities for you to build links. There are also various other ways of building links that can definitely help you out:

    • Get a Tumblr blog with a high PA (focus on "page authority" as the "domain authority" is already high). Add your link to your Tumblr blog.
    • Write quality articles and distribute them on article platforms such as ezinearticles. Add a link back to your site in the resource box.
    • Post a link on your social media profiles + share the link in groups (for better results, start by introducing yourself and build up some authority in groups, then drop your link)
    • Use social bookmarking sites for some extra juice
    • Comment on niche-relevant blogs (you can use DropMyLink to find blogs that give dofollow backlinks)
    • Become active in niche-relevant forums and add a link in your signature
    • Find a niche-relevant blog and ask if you can guest post for them with the condition that you get a link back to your site
    These are just a couple of tips. Let me know if they help and if you need more ideas.

    I have a blog on Anime and related stuff. I am generally active on Myanimelist forums. It gives me a good backlink from forum sig and profile and also people who see my profile visit my site (I get around 50 plus profile vis everyday).

    Find forums related yo your niche and post good stuff on them regularly.

    Find related blogs and establish good communication with them.

    Guest post and get backlinks.

    Social media.

    Yahoo answers, kills two birds with one stone. You get a backlink (nofollow) and since Yahoo answers rank very high, you get free traffic.

    If there are, its not highly recommended.

    Yes ofcourse because there are lots of reputable blog sites and active online communities for you to learn.

    For related websites its possible but for other unrelated low quality sites its definitely a spam.

    Quality link are earned not generated.

    Try to sign up on some general forums and post your own links there.
