Doesn't seem to do anything for me... trying a search just brings me back to the same page with the box now empty. Javascript problem on my end maybe?

Yes Misel as you told is good way. Each one should get indulged in doing self search or R&D, only this is the way which can seek a ray of light.

Best way is to go for other blogs who already have the list. Read about 2 or 3 to find the biggest list and eliminate down to the one that has good ones with great PR ranking.

Does anyone else find that these 'dofollow' search engines are actually mostly filled with blogs that are now nofollow, or where comments has been turned off?

Anybody found a 'current' dofollow search engine?

That's because the majority of people use it to spam when they find one. Unless people start behaving whenever someone posts a dofollow list/blog somewhere, there won't be any left

You are correct. I started my own search engine in January because I was tired of all the junkie 'dofollow' search engines and lists. I ended up turning it into a paid service because it became so popular (and a ton of work to maintain!)

I recheck each site once a month and have had about 10% of my blogs each month turn to nofollow. In my April update I kicked out about 100 blogs!

You can check out a review I completed on 3 popular free dofollow search engines on my blog.

I have found a lot, and compiled my lists, from various existing lists, but also experimenting with posts and watching my backlinks.
