How do You feel when you tell your friends you make money online?

This has been bothering me for the past couple weeks - sine the weather is getting nicer and I have been going out with my friends more and they easily see I can spend money and it really is nothing to me as long as we are having fun.

This goes differently when I hang out with my marketing friends or entrepreneur friends.

I am more close to my friends I grew up with but they are not in the same situation I am in they struggle while I persists on being better. how do you feel when you tell your friends you are making money is there a guilt or maybe a jealousy conflict?

 

I have some pretty close co-worker friends that are aware that I make a supplimental income online. They were very leary when I first got into it over a year ago. But I think they are now more interested in doing the same thing I am doing.

 

yea I feel that I want to set an example to my friends but some have no drive to do so - I just do not want to be perceived as bragging when I talk about making new websites or marketing and all that stuff.

 

i dont really like to brag about my work to my friends anyway.

 

It really depends on how much money you made from the net?I felt good when i told my friends that i am making money online.

 

Just only my close friends know about my online business...since now I haven't seen any jealousy, but I don't know what they are thinking about my affairs

 

They all want to know how i do it.

 

When I first told them they thought I was crazy and was lying. Then when I bought a new car they thought I was selling drugs. I had to show them my website and my bank statements to get them to shut up. They arent jealous because I usually pay for them when we go anywhere. The girls love it too. And no, none of them are gold diggers.

Right now, it doesn't feel all that great, I don't make that much money online but I am trying to change that.

 

yep.. still looking for real proof and my bank statement still hiding under my bed somewhere

 

My friends think it's pretty cool but it's not like I brag about it...my dayjob pays way more than what I make online as of right now, lol.

 

if u made so much money you wouldnt need to "advertise" to dp members lol

 

i did drive all my friends to make money online , now online business is our discussion topic

 

I choose not to talk about money with my friends, can cause too many arguements, etc.

But my friends know I make a little money on the side online, and my main focus is university at the moment, they accept it, they think it's pretty good actually.

 

The joy of making money multiplies when you share that joy with friends.

Almost all my friends have jobs, yet i make more online than some of them.

They all are happy for me, but nobody wants to try making money online.

 

i don't tell my friends what i make online. but there's never been a conflict. when we actually have a chance to all get together we just love to have fun and be around each other. but of course not having that set paycheck is out of their comfort zone so i respect that

 

well i feel just like you but sometimes they ask what exactly do i do and it's very hard to explain lol

 

They always say something like "So...you mean you con people on E-bay or something?" That's the only way they can imagine anyone can make money online
