I think it helps because everyone who tries to sell a script for $400 plus will quickly find their program being leaked. I find it helps to eliminate ridiculously high prices like that, forcing them to sell at a more reasonable & average price.

i dont like warez and i think people who use them are leeching maggots~ my reason have you ever worked soooo hard to make something only to get your script cracked and some one else take the credit for it?!!! I mean I look around and they take credit for your software. You work so hard and some little prick disputes it for free and they get loved for doing it by a bunch of rejects.

I see nothing wrong with em either as long as they aren't online scripts like vbulletin or IPB.

I've used warez in the past, when I couldn't afford an actual application, but I stick to it only for cable TV shows, as I don't get cable. :p

Warez is a must. Soon, corporate businesses and governments will rape the Internet as a whole. Do you honestly want to spend silly amounts of money for any type of media, when you can get it for free? It's the organizations faults for not developing a secure strategy where nothing can be leaked. If it's out there, then they are at blame, not the people downloading it. Consumers purchase the product/service legally, then they leak it out to the public. You might not be able to stop that action, but there are effective ways of dealing with licensing.

There may be some programs/games that you may need/want for linux. Just because you run linux doesn't mean that your singled out from using programs, especially if you use WINE. For example, lets say you have one hard drive and something happens.... you have to format.... There's several games that you bought from pogo.com (for instance) and you want to reinstall, but find that you can't without rebuying it. I'm sure that alone would tempt people to find a "nulled copy" of it.

And I doubt that you "dont need" any warez, it's probably that you "don't want" any warez, am I right?
