It was? Please show me the law that was broken. Last I checked, there was a resolution introduced, and backed by congress to go to war. Please cite your source to this law you think was broken? Just because something is wrong in your eyes (using hind sight of course) does not mean it is illegal.
If I was an iranian leader, it would be crazy for me not to seek nuclear weapons. Iran is no threat to the United States but the United States is a threat to Iran. The United States has stated publicly that its goal is regime change in Iran. The United States has invaded Iraq without any reason. The only way for Iran to avoid being invaded by the US is to have nuclear weapons. Iraq did not have any and it was invaded.
The whole Iraq invasion was based on the WMD lie, Afghanistan was based on finding OBL and defeating the Taliban (neither of which have happened.) That claim was that the war was "illegal". You've done this time and time again. Time and time again, several people here have asked you to show us what this law was that was broken. If they can get hold of it they will use it, simple like this. Some former mullahs and the current one and together with the PM of Iran are desperately looking for the ultimate. Unfortunately there's not enough opposition from within. The minority of probably 15 - 25 % who oppose the iranian leadership have no chance to combat that regime. So there must be an injection from the outside. Even Russia and China getting tougher now, which looks like a good sign to use more force to stop them. Rejecting multi billion $$$ of offers and incentives speaks louder than any confession. They have no excuses.

Arnie our first job is to admit our past doings to the world then we can get world opeinion and true backing against the current stance of iran on this nuclear issue.
