Hmmm... I was expecting most of the answer except for the bit about Copywriting being high-paid. How much should a 500 word article fetch? Any good sites where I can get some decently paid copywriting jobs?
there are several way to generate online money but it's depend on your knowldge, for example SEO is one of the way.
e-commerce. I don't recommend it though unless you have a strong business background. I guess if you dropship that would help make things easier though.
Pick a subject you're interested in. Build a blog and forum around that subject. Build it with love and passion. Monetize it once you have a steady flow of traffic.
There are also sites that share revenues with Adsense, DP is one. Freelancing makes good money. If you have a knack in writing, have good English and willing to spend sleepless nights (at the beginning), try writing lots of stuff and sell them to different comapnies/sites. They will buy your fresh content.
Right now I average about $60 per day. I run two small membership websites, and promote affiliate products. All the sites I run deal with selling advertising free and paid. Everyone needs a place to advertise so I give them a place My goal is to build a few more mini sites and hopefully get my monthly income to over $3k a month. The problem though is its only me doing all the work so I tend to get side tracked very easily and work on my projects very slowly. So if you plan to run more then 3 - 5 websites you might want to get a family members or someone you trust to help you out and give them a little money for doing so or else you'll have to do double or triple the work. What helps me is I'm a web designer by trade so I can do all my own web work, and I was even thinking of doing web work for others on the side, but its just another site/project waiting to be created lol.

I am very interested in learning more about the CPA. I haven't heard of that one before. Myself? I have been freelancing over the past 2 years. This has been copywriting, article writing, editing and proofreading and some ghostwriting. Income varies depending on what projects you take on. if you are looking at this area, it is best to register with a lot of sites. GetAFreelancer has lots of projects but many will do the work for a pittance. Guru.com, Elance and LimeExchange are a few other good ones. Most have free memberships and then you have X amount of bids per month and then pay a small fee on completion of project. A good way to get started. Then you can take on regular clients outside of these websites. Hope this has helped
