How do you do this?

On John Chow's blog, eg : http://www.johnchow.com/category/making-money-from-a-blog/
His articles are cut off at a certain point in the archives,how do I do this to my one ?

you can cut of the post by adding the more tag into the post

using it will cut of the post at whatever point u add the tag into, good for teasing the reading into reading the full post, also good if your post are long.

i normally use the more tag on a blog, if the individual post are long, thing 5 - 10 post per page, all 300 character +, could well lead to long page loading times, however i see more n more people not using it nowadays.

 

hmm , you are right, maybe i can use it, if you look at my blog, the main page is pretty long... Thanks for advices...
