How do you do the searching?, what are steps taken? How do you narrow down the results? How do you determine the "right keyword" ? Some people said you can get the best result of your findings by add in this phrase "allinurl:" before ur keywords in the search engine's search browser. For example - [ allinurl:telecommunication ]. Anyone has tried this method? Let me know plz? This info is needed for my upcoming class...
what class is it for? you may find these useful: http://websearch.about.com/library/cheatsheet/blgooglecheatsheet.htm http://www.cwire.org/data-mining-using-google/
this command is used to view links that point to a site, for example allinurl:examplesite.com this will return a list of pages that point to the site, examplesite.com, so I don't think this is used by people to get good search results
oh... thanks a lot! this is for my telecommunication class... we had a discussions and forums where we discuss bout the topics we learn in ICT field!
I c... thanks for the info angelina... thats mean that this method is not as useful as they said. Hummm...
Hi Sweetie, be careful with your sequential posts (like the three in a row above) I have had infractions for TWO in a row in the past, you should use the multiquote feature. Also, another good tool for you to use would be the google trends tool, and compare different keywords within the niche that your class is studying, its a great way to compare search traffic volumes
oh... thanks for the reminder MOG! really appreciate it, I haven't know bout it. And thanks for the tips!
