I can't share everything but can the obvious things.

Search intent is most important, get this wrong and the keyword doesn't matter. After you select a keyword, look at what's ranking first page to find the intent. Is it a buyer intent, informational, location? Are the articles a listicle, how to, product review? If google is ranking ecommerce sites (buyer intent) for a keyword and you're using the keyword from an informational angle, you probably won't out-rank them. If the top 3-5 positions are using a "listicle" format, I would also use a listicle format.

Google shows you everything you need to know (what they're rewarding) by looking at what's on the first page for any keyword. You also want to keep your keywords related in the beginning, to create topical relevance/topical authority.

Even when you are aware of the significance of SEO keyword research, how do you begin? Keep reading to learn the eight steps that will show you how to conduct keyword research for SEO

    1. Make a list of possible keywords

Making a list of potential keywords is the first stage in the keyword research process. These keywords can be as general or specific as you like, and they can relate to your market, your goods or your services in any way.

As an illustration, if your business is a bike store in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, your keywords might be "bike shop in Harrisburg," "bike rack," "bike seats," or any other bicycle accessories you offer.

    2. Examine rival keyword targeting

Then, you may visit the websites of your rivals to discover the keywords they're using to describe the identical goods and services they offer.

A excellent approach to get ideas you never would have considered otherwise is to research your competitors. This can also help you with the remainder of your keyword research in the future.

    3. Make a list of long-tail keywords

The next step is to extend your initial short list of keywords into a longer list of long-tail keywords. Therefore, the keywords you generated in step one may be very brief and general, like "bike stores."

However, if you stop to consider it, there may be thousands or even tens of thousands of companies vying for that same phrase throughout the nation, and as a local company, you're probably not going to be able to rank in the top 10.

Consequently, the goal of this stage of the keyword research process is to locate longer, more precise terms that show that a user is explicitly searching for the components you want to promote.

    4. Utilize keyword discovery tools

Your keywords will be expanded by a keyword research tool like KeywordsFX based on actual user search trends and dat

You'll find an alphabetized list of all the variations that people frequently look for in Google when you enter a keyword into KeywordsFX.

If you type in "bike rack," for instance, one of the results is "bike rack for audiq5", indicating that many people have looked for that exact phrase in Google in the past. Therefore, if you sell a bike rack that is compatible with this particular car, this might be a keyword that you want to target.

You'll see a tonne of different results for this as you scroll down the page, and depending on the keyword you input, it may be an overwhelming list of terms.

    5. Transfer keyword information to a spreadsheet.

You can use a variety of free tools to cut down your list, but many of us at Web FX prefer to use the Chrome addon Keywords Everywhere. You can bulk submit all of the keywords that you discovered in the second phase using this addon, which is free.

Therefore, if you exported all of your keywords into a spreadsheet, you can simply copy and paste those into the programme.

These are some of the most effective ways to Improve Your Local SEO for all types of organizations. I hope you will find them useful as well. This is a really great question ...

I recommend that you watch this video:

Personally, I don't have a strategy but I am developing one as of this moment.
I don't like the idea of writing something I have no clue about.
And I don't want to hire writers.
My only option is to go with topics I am knowledgeable about and can offer help with.
If I don't have something good to offer I don't pursue it.
    It's that simple.

Also, a great tip is to use Google for your research.
Take a look at your keyword's top-ranking pages and see what they are doing and try to come up with something different or better.
I like to Google my title to see what results it comes up with and see how Google understands it.
Sometimes you write a title for your blog post that seems clever but Google will interpret it differently and return different results than what you are looking for.
Always use Google as a research tool.

Keyword research is an important part of SEO and can help you determine what words and phrases people are searching for.

To do keyword research, start by brainstorming topics related to your business or website. Then use a keyword tool like Google Keyword Planner to find relevant keywords with high search volume. Finally, analyze the results and choose the most effective keywords for your content.

Recently I purchased a plugin for my WordPress website, Squirrly SEO, and the Keyword research results were satisfied.

    Hi
I conduct keyword research by analyzing a wide variety of data points from the internet. I utilize my natural language processing capabilities to identify commonly searched words and phrases. I also consider factors like search volume, competition, and relevance. Depending on the needs, I might also look at the context in which these keywords are used to understand user intent. This process, however, is based on the knowledge I was trained with up to September 2021 and did not involve real-time internet browsing or tracking individual user data.

Keyword research is an essential step in optimizing your website's content for search engines and attracting organic traffic. Here are the steps to conduct keyword research:

    1. Define Your Goals: Determine the purpose of your keyword research. Are you aiming to increase website traffic, target specific topics, or improve conversions? Clear goals will guide your research process.

    2. Brainstorm Seed Keywords: Start by brainstorming a list of relevant keywords or phrases related to your website's niche or topic. Think about the terms users would search for to find content like yours. Include both broad and specific keywords.

    3. Use Keyword Research Tools: Utilize keyword research tools to expand your list and gather data on search volume, competition, and related keywords. Popular tools include:
      • Google Keyword Planner: Provides search volume, competition, and keyword ideas.
      • SEMrush: Offers comprehensive keyword data and competitive analysis.
      • Ahrefs: Provides keyword suggestions, search volume, and ranking data.
      • Moz Keyword Explorer: Offers keyword suggestions and difficulty scores.
    4. Analyze Competitors: Study your competitors' websites to identify the keywords they are targeting. Tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs can help you uncover the keywords they rank for and gain insights into their strategies.

    5. Assess Keyword Metrics: Look for keywords with a balance of high search volume and manageable competition. Aim for keywords that are relevant to your content, have a reasonable search volume, and are not overly competitive. Long-tail keywords (specific, longer phrases) can be valuable as they often have less competition.

    6. Consider User Intent: Understand the intent behind users' search queries. Are they looking for information, seeking a solution to a problem, or ready to make a purchase? Align your keywords with the user's intent to attract the right audience.

    7. Prioritize and Refine: Evaluate your keyword list and prioritize keywords based on relevance, search volume, competition, and user intent. Remove any irrelevant or low-value keywords and focus on those that best align with your goals.

    8. Create Quality Content: Once you have your target keywords, create high-quality, informative, and engaging content around them. Incorporate keywords naturally into your content, including headings, titles, meta descriptions, and throughout the body.

    9. Monitor and Adapt: Regularly review and monitor the performance of your chosen keywords. Adjust your strategy based on changes in search trends, competition, and user behavior.
Remember, keyword research is an ongoing process. Keep refining your keyword strategy based on data and user feedback to optimize your website for better visibility and organic traffic.
