How do you delete threads/ change thread names?

I have tried to change a thread name i started as i made a mistake in the title, so people maybe able to understand ... I have tried to change the name and even to delete the thread so i can re submit it but i am unaware of how to do so. Please can someone help me?

I don't think it is possible.

 

Only moderators can do that.

 

Perhaps you can post on your thread for a moderator to help you fix the thread title.

 

So if i rea post it is it ok just to say on the old one for a moderator to close it or would i get banned for 'spamming' or something?

 

I believe you only have 8 hours in which to make any changes to your thread . After that you will have to contact a mod .

 

you cant change the title but you can hit the report button on your 1st post in your thread and ask a mod nicely if they would correct the title for you.

you can only edit your posts for 8 hours, you can not delete the thread 1st post if someone has posted after you, but you can delete posts within the threads for 8 hours if you hit the edit button no matter if anyone posted after you or not.

i think the time for which u can edit ur posts should be extended

 

i don't think you can delete you own thread
