Success is a journey, not a destination. Set small goals along your way to keep you motivated and achieving... eventually you'll get to a point where you are so content with life you will feel you have achieved all you need to.
I define success to becoming the richest man in the world....... Which will probably never happen but hoping to happen..
Some people define having Money or being Rich as success. It is true to some extent, but I also have some other factors for success. I feel successful when I achieve something in life, when I help others, when others appreciate me for my efforts, and when I'm happy
SUCCESS IS HUMANITY!!! Helping others is also called success!!! As success can be defined in many words. For a child to get a toy is success in their words whereas you worked hard on a project and got good remarks about it, then you have a feeling of succession.
success = people recognizing me on the street being thankful for what I have done for public welfare.
Yes, yes it is. And I've got two of those aforementioned children. I personally think my success is defined by the impression I leave behind. I quit high paying, high profile jobs to become a teacher. I like having the opportunity to touch and possibly positively impact lives every day. I also want to leave a positive impact on the lives of my children, friends and family. Money simply facilitates these opportunities. Rebecca
money defines success, the amount of money you are making defines how successful you are. A business that makes no money is not successful.
A question for all those who want to retire: If you are doing something you love, and making money doing it, why is success defined by stopping it?
I think for me success is defined by the freedom to choose. Being full time with internet marketing now it is nice to work when I want and where I want with no boss. That was my #1 goal when I started doing this part time 5 years ago.
I think success is so subjective. Some people would say $2000 a month is a success, others wouldn't consider that a success in a million years. Success to me is knowing I put my best effort forward. That no matter what the outcome, I learned from the experience. I also try to remember not to blame myself for failures. Rather, to be objective about the failures. Don't write something tried, but failed, off as a failure. I always try to examine it and see if there's something I could do different that I didn't do, that would make it work. Being a success means believing in yourself, even if no one else does. Jason
Success to me is doing what you want, when you want. Its being your own boss, its working when and how long you want. Its eating steak every night, its having the AC at 60 on a 120 degree day. Its having a loving family. Its being able to travel... ect ect.
Success is not one time job, you need to repeat it every time, best to make it a habit and key is to see yourself what you want to be after 5 years from now where you are. But most of the time it is hard to repeat success, for example George Lucas has not repeated same history after "Star Wars".
This exactly how I would describe success. The possibility to do absolutely everything at any time I want to do it. Nicely spoken.
I think that he asked us, the people using internet, what success is. He didn't ask those living in tribes or those living on 3rd world countries. If he would have asked them the question, they would probably said having food on the table is success.
