    Not exactly but we share the COMMON Interest of providing our sites with Quality backlinks so as to provide our clients with QUALITY listings.

    We have some backlinks that are similar or same but not all he might have that I dont and I might have that he don't. Either way its about having always a Quality BL.

    When you talk of backlinks to the directories are you talking about the majority of backlinks being from other directories? or are there other places that you directory owners concentrate on for backlinks too?

    A backlink is a backlink, it is seen as a vote from one page to another. The more the merrier.

    Quality backlink is seen as a vote from a reputable page (authority page), of course it is again categorised as many different class. In simplified terms, PR is a good guide of that different power, strength.

    I believe most directory owners will just maximise their backlink strength and direct to their directory from whatever existing sites they might have. To give the directory a good medium to high PR level.

    The more the merrier.
