I submit to directories on a regular basis & occasionally, I get a rejection - how do you deal with it?

I let it pass. Quite frankly there are 500000000 directories. A couple rejections is gonna get me down :).

Why do you think you get rejected?

I'm only concerned about being accepted in dir's I've paid for and not been refunded (never have) for free submissions I just let it go.

I fail to see what people expect to gain from challenging the rejection. Do you think you will make the owner change their mind? Has this ever worked for you? My submissions are almost never rejected, but if they are I just move on. It's not really a big deal.

I never challenge a rejection, as pointed out there are so many directories.

I respect the directory owners decision, if i made a mistake myself i slap my wrist and either resubmit with correct entry or move on. :)

I normally throw a fit and roll on the floor crying for hours.
Then I call up Google and report them for a made up violation.:p
Then I bomb them with viruses until their server is broken and beyond any repair. :D

Nah, really just let it ride, there are thousands of directories and no need to stress. ;)

Even if that was the anchor text, 80 percent of directory owners here wouldn't have a problem with it.

Never break your head, like someone says there are 2 many around

But you might want to revisit your details if you are getting more frequent rejections

Agreed 100% you aren't looking at titles when your trying to see how fast you can accept everyone into your new link farm in progress. The directory starts like a catepiller waiting to turn into a beautifu butterfly (a big quality dir) yet for some reason most turn into ugly annoying mothds (link farms). Either way the Frog eats em both all day.

At first I thought this thread was how to deal with getting rejected by women. Something I"m an expert at. I guess I'll have to save that information for another day!

Funny thing is that I submitted to DMOZ after being rejected, with chicks that would not happen. I move on quickly :D

Forget dates, just go for the sure thing for a while and then work your way up. Don't go out to the bars until they're about to close, there you will recognize the sure thing the best :p
