...and then make sure something like "super ninja badass forex blogging home loan grant mortgage ninja fighter system" isn't already in use somewhere else?
Possibly, but that doesn't answer my question. It seems like if you call your product "[subject] Guide", it doesn't sell. But if you call it "ILLEGAL ways to STEAL ADWORDS PROFITS!!!!1!one!!!" you will sell a million of them, even if the product is complete rehashed shit that is the same as 50 other ebooks. So I was wondering if there was a quantified method for arriving at successful titles or not.
Most of the time i think about my target group, and i try to address there problem with one word and add another word related to the topic. Other times i see what are my competitors names and work something along those lines.
I'm sorry to say, but title has nothing to do with it!!! It's all about marketing, JV's and sales copy... If you don't know how to market your product, I don't care what the title is... you won't sell "millions" of it! You'll never sell millions of anything alone... you need strong JV partners! And if you can't write and don't know what to write, you'll not get there either... your headline is the one that will get the readers started down the page and hopefully, your sub-headlines and your copy will get them all the way down to your call to action! Cheers, Pete
