I am trying to change the background of this photo into a black color (but not jet black. A couple shades lighter. Like a very dark charcoal color). I tried using the magnetic lasso tool, but since the background color is originally white, it lassos some of the poles with it. Can someone help me? Or better yet, can someone please change the background color themselves? Thanks a lot.
Hello, Its very simple use magic eraser and click on white portion. After that add one more new layer and fill the color which one you want and change the sequence of the layer. that's it. Here is the images to see how to do..
Work on layers. Click on the background color square in the tool palette and select a new color. That's easy!
Yep, magic want... then alt-click to subtract from selection via a marquee tool, or shift-click to add to it... After this use a smart-mask to refine your selection further. Use layers!!
hi, try to use the magic wand with Tolerance 10 , that would work and then copy to the new layer and change the background If that not giving you good results then better go for pen tools , that would take some time but u get %100 perfect selection
...And do you ever get the feeling that there are folks out there asking for advice, just so they can post it on their own blogs?... You have to wonder sometimes.
Yep... And a smart mask, they are less destructive / more flexible than traditional cut/paste methods.
