How do you cash Google check?

Hey,

I'd like to know how do you cash your recieved checks from Google. How many weeks does it take? How much comissions will be taken away?

In our country(in Uzbekistan) cashing Google checks is a real pain in the ass Because there's only one bank in the whole country which is able to deal with Google checks and it takes about 2 months. This is really loong period. And also if you are cashing up to $500 they took $40 commision; if $500-$2,500 they took $70; if $2,500 and more they took $80

That's why I'd like to know how this process is undertaken in other parts of the world.

I do not know about your country , but get in touch with local bank and adsense support for clearing the whole matter.

Is not your fault..take 2-3 .com domains, work on the sites and you will get some money from Adsense.

 

When I get my google check, I cash it into the bank, and voila. More money in the bank.

"I got money in da bank! Money in da bank!"

 

Well, if Google could pay by webmoney or something it would be really easier and comfortable...

The problem is that no other banks, except that one, don't even understand this check... anyways, i'm going to email adsense support now... let's see what they say...

Hey Fairy, why you're irritating him? He is just asking the methods of check clearings, if you know reply positively or get away...

 

I dont know about uzbekistan but in the US if you have an account at the bank they dont charge to cash the check, you just hand it to the teller and the money is put in your account. Any multi-national bank will be the same way, though what are the name of the banks in uzbekistan?

 

In my country(Romania) any bank accepts checks, but it takes about 1month till i get the money, and they get 5% comission...

 

You got to read your bank policies on checks deposit, if there is a commission then be it, otherwise you can try other banks, don;t have to be local banks.

 

This is really BS if you say the other banks won't understand it. Just go to any local bank and meet the manager cos in countries like yours i am afraid you might have illiterate weirdo's in the reception(same is the case in my country)).
Tell the manager its an international check and that deal with it, but you need to have an account in that bank cos the bank will accept that check, process it and get it validated and if valid the bank will deposit the cash into your account from where you can withdraw any time! ~~~provided you are not in debt lolz!!!

 

Well, I just go to my local bank and deposit the check, They didn't take any commission etc etc, And after 12 to 15 days money is in my hand.

commission is charged only if:

your cheque is in foreign CCY thats USD.

no one charges commission for a local CCY check and if anyone does, kick their a$$ and move to next bank. Only idiots pay for local clearance.

If you are receiving in $$, it will take 1 month before it gets cleared. But if you prefer to receive in your local currency, the better.

Local currency cheque usually takes only 2-3 days to get cleared.

 

i m from india.I got money in my local currency.I deposited the chek in my bank and it got cleared in 2 days without any commision deduction.
