I've been trying to buy a domain with Godaddy, I have over 50 dollars on my paypal account when I log in on the check out page it asks me to "To complete your purchase, please add a new credit card or debit card.
Debit Cards (also called check cards, ATM cards, or banking cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Number of cards active on your account: 0"

I don't know why seeing as I do in fact have a card there.

You need a "live credit card" attached to your paypal account.

I had the same problem when the vcc attached to my paypal expired. Now I have a real plastic CC, so no probs.

Try namecheap. They have no restrictions, but a few $$$ costly.

That's very strange. I have purchased numerous domains through GoDaddy using my PayPal account. Try taking the debit card off of your account, then add it back shortly after. You will probably have to wait a few days if you have online bank statements in order to get the Expanded Use number, but it'd be worth it if you really need the domains. ;)

When all else fails..call customer support. Good luck with their support staff. I've heard they can be hard-headed and stupid sometimes.
